Well since we were last together I have been to Stellenbosch on an outing with the grade 4/5's.
It was a lovely outing to the Village Museum where we went back into the year 1600. My what a lot I learned and really are so glad that I was not born in those days. They had to hunt for their food, had material on their windows and did some funny things trying to make people better. There were no fridges, heating was done by using coals.

We also went to the castle in Cape Town where once again we learned some very interesting things of how Cape Town was inthe very beginning. I am so proud of the first settlers as they some really hard times and also being so far from their original homes.

Dot the senior citizen learns to blog

It's been such fun doing this blogging with Hamman. I've learned a whole new world of computer activity and hope we will have some fun times together. I have learned a lot here at the blogging lessons at our local primary school and I am going to enjoy blogging.

It's been such fun doing the blogging with Desmos as well. We have learned a new way of using the computer and it sure opens a new world for us to explore. I have learned a lot at the school in this Senior Citizens project and I enjoyed blogging to day as always with my two Grade 5 blogging assistants.
